Megan liked to think that she was a good judge of character. At the very least, she knew trouble when she saw it. And she knew that Speed, with the bad boy grin and the looks he kept giving her, that he was trouble. He posed in the doorway, that wolfish smile firmly in place. She wasn’t sure what color his eyes were; the goggles he wore made them look kind of greenish. It only made him look more like a predator. “Ye-es?” she asked.
“So, what are you doing tonight?”
Megan met his gaze squarely, lips pursed thoughtfully. “I’m going out dancing,” she said, brushing past the speedster. She could feel his eyes on her back, and she felt a little grin tugging on her lips. She could play those wolf games too.
