language fails me at a time like this. all the words for despair and anger and hurt don't convey enough of the emotions i feel right now. that said, the following phrase sums it all up rather well despite language's shortcomings.

so i ordered 'teleny, or the reverse of the medal' months and months ago. it's fairly thin, 156 pages, large type. i finally dove into it head first yesterday. it blew my socks off. 1893 first published. this book is literally porn, yet literature at the same time. the sex scenes in here would make even anne rice blush.
