It's been a while since my last post; in that interval my external hard drive crashed (we've yet to see if anything can be recovered from it--and it had all my bases and screencaps on it) and life's gotten more hectic. I had a couple icons made for this one, so decided to get one more and post it.

The fun part about going through holiday_wishes is you never know what request you'll see next. Some people request icons, and then it's fun to take a look at their profile and see what they like. OK, here's a tiny post, but I figured I ought to show what I *did* make over the summer, which was, well, nearly nothing.

The base for these two (both from The Last Samurai, if you couldn't tell) is by thevixxmeister from basicbases. I used part of a picture from EPOD to filter it some, a brush by inxsomniax, and a border brush by iconswithlove. I couldn't decide if it was OK just by itself ( Read more... )

Both #1 and #2 come from the summary to this fic. It also provided the inspiration for the design of #1. *g* The brush on #1 is by quebelly. On #2, the border brush is by icons_with_love, and the other brush is by parrotdroppings. This set is a request by ksarasara, made in this post, featuring a couple lines from a poem by Richard Siken. Sara, I whipped 'em up kinda fast, so I dunno how well they fit what you were wanting . . .

#1, #2, and #3 use bases by feathered, from obsessiveicons. #4 uses a free About.com pattern, a border brush from quebelly, and another brush by icons_with_love, both from brushaddicts.
