Tag problem - now that we speak of Hana Kimi twdrama as Hana Kimi, what do we tag the jdrama with? Hanazakari no Kimitachi e? Or as the article below mentions, something like "hana kimi: ikemen paradise"?? The mod can decide on this. :)

*O* :glompsj00i LOVELOVELOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the TW version of Hana-Kimi! I guess I'm a bit like you, where I am dyyyyyying for the Jap. to come out, but it also saddens and angers me [just a little for the latter though] how everyone are saying that they didn't like the TW version at all, and it's just because of Ella and they didn't make her cute enough. I mean srsly, could you imagine Ariel Lin [whom I like] or Rainie Yang [whom I don't like] as Mizuki/Rui Xi? And hey, Ella already had the tomboyish act down ( ... )

Oh god, I know! Sure, his hair was a little long, and SUDDENLY he had 20/20 vision, and ZOMG he might've been weird at first, but 5 minutes after seeing him, I was hooked.
...Actually, I was like that with everyone.
My favorite part with Mei Tian was when he was talking in his office with Rui Xi about his childhood, and in the end, it was all from a drama that he watched. XDDD

That...would be pretty damn awesome. And now I'm getting ideas about Rui Xi and Xiu Yu and Jian/Qian allllllll meeting Mizuki and Sano and Nakatsu. xDDD That would be crazy cool.

I remember watching the previews for Ep. 15 and just thinking, 'Nooooooooooo, Xiu Yi, don't kill yourself, I loooooooove you and your GYAness!', and then actually watching the episode, I was just, '...Eh? Xiu Yi and Julia! Now when did THIS happen? [Not that I don't like it, Xiu Yi/Nakatsu and Julia would be a cute pairing ( ... )

He's so reluctant about being her support but they end up being like these odd friends and he's a little cruel to her for his own amusement but the relationship is still really sweet. I just love their interactions. The "sad story from drama" bit was to die for. Too hilarious ( ... )

OMPH! Oguri Shun is the stuff of my dreams but you totally sold me on Toma!! And cute Mizuki!! These are such amazing news. And how came you haven't seen "Hana Yori Dango" yet??

I'm a lameass who's been focusing on kdrama/twdrama thus far.. So much out there, so little time. Plus I'm not that huge on shojo manga. IDK. I'm unsure if I'd like it, to be honest..

:O!! Wow, Maki looks like a really good Mizuki in that picture. I've seen photoshoots of her before, but none of them worked for me as well as this one. :D (ELLA was PERFECT for the role! ♥ But just me being picky, if Maki keeps her hair like that, she'd look more like manga Mizuki than ELLA did.)

Wow, Oguri Shun as Sano...! That needs some getting used to, especially after Wu Zun's very fine portrayal in the TW drama. XD But Oguri is great! He'll definitely be able to pull off the dreamy factor. XD I hope he dyes his hair black for this role though. He's had it that color for a while now, and I can't imagine a Sano without dark hair! I also hope Toma's just as crazy a Nakatsu as Jiro was. Haha! (Jiro was spot on!)

:butts in because i'm a loser like that: I think I'm so used to seeing Ella as Mizuki/Rui Xi with her shortshortSHORT! hair, that it'll take a bit to get accustomed to seeing Maki as Mizuki. >_>;; That picture does make her look more like Mizuki in the manga, but I dunno, it still looks a bit girl-ish to me. :/ We'll just have to wait and see. :]

Ah, I couldn't imagine Oguri Shun as Sano at first. It just seems so...weird. XDDD If he died his hair, like you say he should, then it might seem more realistic to me. Sano with light hair and Nakatsu with whatever color Ikuta's hair is right now [let's just say black. :D]? That would definitely be interesting.

Jiro was awesome and while I've only seen Ikuta as Junpei in HYD II, I can sort of see him as an eccentric Nakatsu like Jiro was.
