...

Even since his inevitable side switch, Knock Out was still sour over a lot of events from the past.

He still held distain for Arcee and Bumblebee over the train incident, though he was letting it go a little with Bumblebee, seeing as he was the only Autobot who believed in him. He wasn’t fond of Bulkhead, as he had been Breakdown’s rival, but he didn’t have any reason to hate him. Ultra Magnus, Wheeljack and Ratchet were okay to him, but again, he didn’t have anything to hold against them.

Then there was the one left. Smokescreen.

Oh how did he hate that fragger!

He’d never got over being trapped in that accursed wall...and even after managing to catch his rival in the same place, it wasn’t nearly as long or humiliating as it had been for him.

A sharp digit began to trace up his leg, but he couldn’t see it, as it was the one on the other side of the wall. It didn’t stop, soon pinching his aft and beginning to trace along his interface panel.

Shuddering in fear, he wanted to kick, but was completely restrained. He was helpless.

“Enjoy it while you can” Megatron merely teased as he went past, all too aware of what his crew were up to with the trapped mech.

“KNOCK OUT!”

He jumped back in shock, optics wide as he became aware of the world again. Those memories still haunted him...and all because of the mech who had roused him.

Straightening and trying to play it cool, Knock Out frowned at the blue and yellow mech. “What is it Auto...Smokescreen?”

“You looked like...ah, never mind” he shook his helm, rolling his optics at something unknown to Knock Out. “But you were shaking, and it took me several attempts to get your attention” He could feel Knock Out’s energy field was dark and scared, clamped tight to the red mech. Though he could see the mask on the red mech, he tried not to pry.

“I’m fine, just FINE” Knock Out insisted a little too much, turning and freezing as he came to realize where he was stood.

Days had gone by, and though he could keep track of it, he wished he couldn’t...each moment brought more abuse to him, and he was beginning to believe he’d be better off offline.

Another servo began to trace around his panel...no longer covered thanks to some aggressive being who ripped it clean off.

He felt numb...nothing could really make this any worse.

“What’s wrong Knocks?” Smokescreen cut back in, forcing himself in front of the red mech and blocking his view.

“NOTHING!” Knock Out yelled, backing off, feeling his sensor net suddenly alive for some unknown reason.

Sighing, Smokescreen slowly moved forward, gently lifting a servo and placing it on Knock Out’s shoulder. “Knock Out...” he asked calmly, “Please don’t do this to me”

“What?”

“You’re free” Dreadwing stated, no more sympathetic than any of the other Decepticons.

He had a crew of vehicons breaking the wall open, and it wasn’t even that long before Knock Out fell onto the floor.

“You should probably clean yourself up before presenting yourself” the seeker merely gave a slightly disgusted look before leaving with the vehicons.

Collapsing onto the floor and holding his helm, offlined his optics and attempted to purge the memories from himself, not wanting to do this again.

Smokescreen watched in confusion, looking behind him and spotting...a wall? Inspecting said wall more he noted that it looked like it had been re-assembled at some point. He’d never really noticed before, even with them using the crashed Nemesis as a base, but then again, he wasn’t ever around here with others.

Furrowing his optic ridges, he looked back to Knock Out who still remained in a huddle, optics still offline, and was shuddering lightly at a memory.

“Knock Out?” he spoke a little louder than normal to get the mech back to him. As the optics onlined and looked at him, he spoke. “What does...that wall...have to do with this?”

Knock Out suddenly glared at him, surprising the rookie. “YOU SHOULD KNOW! IT WAS YOU WHO DUMPED ME IN THAT WALL WITH YOUR FRAGGING PHASE SHIFTER!”

Blue optics widening, Smokescreen moved slightly closer, unworried by the clear aggression in the mech’s posture. “I’m sorry Knock Out...but I don’t follow”

“YOU LEFT ME THERE!” the red mech screamed out, pouncing on top of Smokescreen and pinning him to the floor. “YOU PUT ME THROUGH HELL! AND I’VE WANTED TO REPAY YOU FOR THAT TORTURE FOR SOME TIME NOW!”

The blue and yellow mech smirked at the angered mech, “You want to repay me?” he tilted his helm, still not worried by the position he was in. “And just how would you do that?”

Knock Out hesitated for a moment, his sensors prickling again and his energy field flaring and attempting to merge with Smokescreen’s clearly playful one, but he quickly retracted it. “I...” he went to speak but stopped.

True, he had wanted revenge...but at the same time, another feeling had been assaulting him since.

Even with the horrors he’d experienced, he had still found his feelings conflicted over the matter. Smokescreen was the only other mech who seemed to care about their finish, which made him desirable, but he had done that to him...

Twitching his digits, he felt smooth plating under them, relaxing him a little.

“I...” he tried to speak once more, “I want you”.

Smokescreen’s cheeky grin never left. “You’d be willing to put all that in the past?”

“I...yes...” Knock Out sighed, “I’ve been a little obsessed over...certain events...”

Trying not to laugh, Smokescreen pulled Knock Out closer as he spoke. “I must admit, you’re pretty pleasing to the optics”

Knock Out purred at the compliment, “Oh?”

Smokescreen sealed the conversation with a kiss. Soon scrambling up at the sound of larger pede steps...probably Ultra Magnus checking on the pair.

“I’ll deal with you later” Knock Out hissed before heading off the direction he should have been heading in the first place.
