so i got my first ticket ever this week. two, actually. parking violations.  for "improper parking within 25 ft of crosswalk". each ticket is 54 fucking bucks. i got one on monday, and then another on wednesday, because i hadn't used my car since the weekend.  but i think i may try to fight it.  first of all, 25 ft is rediculous here in hoboken ( Read more... )

hmm whats new.  so a few weeks ago i joined the ny urban professional volleyball league with people from work.  we won our first game last night.  actually, we won our third game.  we're 1-2.  (hold for laughter).   anyway, its fun.  we usually go out for a drink afterwards and have a snack.  there are a bunch of bars that offer 10% if you go there ( Read more... )
