There's the matter of actually passing the classes I just finished, but the work is all done and the ceremony was two days ago. Soon enough I'll have my J.D. in hand.

Now there's just the piddly obstacle of the California Bar between me and the right to practice law in the state of California. Crazy Californians.

I've been watching the 4 original Superman movies on DVD, with director's commentary. The first two are very good. The third is funny in parts, but has definite issues. I got Little Big Planet for xmas and have spent a few hours trying it out. The graphics are really impressive. Everything looks like it has been made from cardboard and constructed into a diorama. But the game itself isn't grabbing me. I'm running around and finding scoring bubbles and art bubbles and trying to find hidden thingies. It's a clssic ( Read more... )

I want to travel internationally over xmas & New Year's. I'm looking at flights to Peru for about $900 but would like to go somewhere cheaper if possible. It would be lovely to visit my NZ friends, but looks like tix are over $2000 each. :(
