I can't believe the number of people who replied to that post with variations of "it's not tacky at all! Here's a cute way to put your money-scrounging request on your invitations!"
WHEN PEOPLE ARE BEING GENEROUS AND GIVING YOU THINGS, YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE PICKY AND DEMANDING! If you get too many gravy boats, quietly return them to the store or sell them on eBay. God, why is that so hard?
Suzy Cheap-Ass and Bobby Tight-wad would like you to share in their joy as they are united in marriage. The entry fee is $50.00 and is due by mail on or before 6/1/06. You have the option of paying by check, credit/debit card or cash. Please note if you pay at the door, the price will be $70.00.
Ha! My boyfriend's brother said to us, "my wedding is costing $200 a head. So you should give us at least that much as a cash gift." He wasn't kidding, either.
Why bother getting married? Just call all your friends & family to say 'gimme money'. And what's she going to do for the encore with Child #2? Whore it out for cash too?
They can have friends & family take their pictures with the bride & groom then sell them at the end of the night for $10 each! Same goes for the baby after it's born!

She should use this to find out what she's owed by every guest at her wedding. Easy!
