This is pretty much the fic I wanted to write after I'd put the book down. But I don't write anymore so...

But yes. In my head the situation is exactly the same, and you've written it beautifully.

Love this. I am such a huge Remus/Sirius shipper and it always seemed sort of obvious in the text. The whole Remus/Tonks thing came from nowhere and never really made sense. I like that you've combined the two to make something I could believe. I also really like that you went backwards. Some people were really bothered by the fact that Harry saw Remus with Lilly James and Sirius as opposed to Tonks, but I liked it that way, and your words reinforce it. Basically I love it, and I'm gonna be crazy pimping it. Nice job!

The way I see it, the majority of Remus's life was spent loving Sirius, James, and Lily -- they'd been his friends since childhood, and even in the years after he lost them, it was obvious that he still hadn't let go of them. Meanwhile, with Tonks, it seems that they spent two, maybe three years together at the most; not to say that he didn't care about her, of course, but it seems like when it all came down to it, his heart was with the friends he'd lost. So, er, in conclusion, I very much like the notion that he's hanging with his fellow Marauders and Lils in the afterlife. :D

Thanks again!

(And, oh, your icon makes me all happy and nostalgic. Oh, Nic and Ewwie!)

I don't mind at all -- I'm very, very flattered that you like it so much. :)

Word. If Kate and Leo can team up again, then why not Nicole and Ewan?

This is just. Stunning. Everything is perfect. It's exactly how I imagined it. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I just. I wish I could think of better words to describe how much I love this. This makes everything that happened in Deathly Hallows so right, you know? Or wrong. I mean -- it makes it okay. I love this glimpse into Remus's feelings throughout the novel, because it makes me understand him better, and it makes me feel bad for the situation both he and Tonk are in. Anyway, you jut did a brilliant job, I your writing style, and I love that the story is told in reverse. I just love this. <3

This is fantastic. It makes perfect sense to, in the way that Tonks and Remus were written in the last book. I always found something to be a bit...off; I never got the impression that he loved her. Liked her, yes, but not loved. Anyway, I think you do Remus real justice in this fic. I am mem'ing.

Aw, thank you so much! :) I'm glad that it made sense to you -- Remus/Tonks has a distinct feeling of offness to it, I think, and while it's frustrating in the books, it does present a whole lot of opportunities for fanfic! Which is handy.

Gorgeous. I love the way you make it work so perfectly. I could re-read this over again. Just the whole... feeling of it all. Echoes DH very well, in my opinion. Amazing <3
