Some people were really bothered by the fact that Harry saw Remus with Lilly James and Sirius as opposed to Tonks, but I liked it that way, and your words reinforce it.
The way I see it, the majority of Remus's life was spent loving Sirius, James, and Lily -- they'd been his friends since childhood, and even in the years after he lost them, it was obvious that he still hadn't let go of them. Meanwhile, with Tonks, it seems that they spent two, maybe three years together at the most; not to say that he didn't care about her, of course, but it seems like when it all came down to it, his heart was with the friends he'd lost. So, er, in conclusion, I very much like the notion that he's hanging with his fellow Marauders and Lils in the afterlife. :D
Thanks again!
(And, oh, your icon makes me all happy and nostalgic. Oh, Nic and Ewwie!)
