so a while back i got to scrub in on a total organ retrieval, which is exactly what it sounds like.  organ donation.
an organ donor no longer has a need to keep thier organs and was kindly passing them onto others who might like them.

Got hired at Harborview Medical Center today, in the OR.  
Gonna be a surgical nurse.

woot.

huge FREAKING woot.

after 4+ years of school and 9+ months at a job i dont like, i get to do something awesome.

yay me.

and the part i like nearly the most, this means one patient at a time, and they are UNCONCIOUS.

got a job - graveyard at a mental hospital. yay for shift diff. (+$3) and weekend diff (+$4)
watched ALOT of TV.
