Ah, we're all pleased and finally a Christmas special with the sam Doctor/Companion from the season we've been watching. And I don't think I ever want Christmas specials to feature one off companions again.
The spoilers don't mention Rory but I assume he will be in the Christmas special and Series 6. I can't wait for Rory and River to meet up. She'll find him endearing.
The episode deals with themes of mental illness and depression; it "goes to some places Doctor Who has never been before".
I am going to be watching you very closely, and if you fuck this up, Who, I will be merciless. If you shatter my heart into tiny pieces with Van Gogh, I may not forgive you.
I'm very glad Karen will be staying for the Chrismas special, and I hope she stays for season 6 too, I think it's better to have a companion for several seasons, that way the characters and their relationships with the Doctor can evolve and we get to know them better. Also, Amy is hot and I love her, I don't want her to go/die.
I'm worried about Rory, I don't know if something is going to happen to him or if he's going to turn evil or be evil or some other terrible thing.
Steven Moffat has also stated that he's scribing the Christmas special and that it features BOTH Matt Smith and Karen Gillan in it. is it wrong i just want some amy/doctor time? i just cant seem to make myself love rory as much as everyone else.
I love Rory and this is my favorite trio since Four/Sarah/Harry, but Eleven/Amy time is a good time. Just as even with my love of Four/Sarah/Harry, I do appreciate that we got Four/Sarah alone episodes.
Thank goodness it's not just me; I was beginning to think there was something really wrong with me. I have started to feel a teeny bit of respect for him, all the times he's sort of shotthe Doctor down, like in Vampires of Venice, and a couple of other times I can't rightly remember, but it's short lived when he goes all drippy over Amy again. Get a backbone man!
(I think VoV was an episode filled with frustration for me regarding Rory; especially when Amy was saying the doctor could pretend to be her fiance, then Rory her brother, that was way harsh, he should have taken her down there and then, he was not indignantly incensed enough for my liking; should have smacked that bitch up.)
(I do love Amy by the way, but she really was so horrible then.)
