lol a while ago I remember seeing that whole "if the first tear comes out the right eye they're crying from happiness/left eye they're crying from pain" thing as some kind of graphic, and firstofoct and I immediately pulled up this gif and were like OMG HE'S CRYING WITH JOY, CLEARLY.

I don't like it when things are too easy for my OTPs! I like it when they have to work through the crap together, and kind of ~earn~ a happy forever, kwim? So the issues in JE of love + abandonment + Rose basically getting dumped at the same time as she's told she's loved = COMPLICATED EMOTIONS!! Which I love in an OTP =D

Oh I agree. If everything was easy it'd be boring. I think for there to be a true happily together forever there has to be some work, else they'll never really appreciate what they've got. Yes, I like my OTPs to have some basis in truth.

As messy and complicated at Doctor/Rose is just a bonus! :D
