Another person in my group is leaving. In the past 2 years, started with 15, 7 left, 1 joined, leaving us with 9. (Although someone is going to replace the newly gone person... and in theory, we may get a headcount soon.)

How long have you been working there? 4 years, right?
I guess, for an average american employee it seems like a long time, people come and go all the time in search for a better thing... What about other 9? Maybe its just a personal thing: "People who don't fit in go"?

Most of the people who've left have been working here for a long time. They all had their reasons (not really a fitting in thing), but it's still a bit unsettling. More opportunity for me, of course, but... meh.
