Just wanted to let you know that, for at least SAPA gypsies, costuming will now be going through the normal Costume funnel. There is a directorial decision on what the look for next year will be. Anything decided or discussed may not be acceptable for SAPA gypsies for the 2010 season. Just to let you know.

appreciate it, I have mentioned to our Character person that I was interested in working with costuming to find/learn changes, as I didnt know yet if that staff was changing. Were focusing less on SAPA and more on playtron, as I have no place to speak for what character costuming or the rest will allow/disallow, though the whole point is to keep them as similar as possible (thinkg SRG) I do appreciate it, and believe me I will be harassing said people to make sure were all on as close to a page as possible.

Furthering education is always a worthy goal, but in the absence of any announcement of your being in ANY position of authority about anything Gypsy related with SAPA , this seems really presumptuous on your part. You either need to put in a few more caveats about exactly what this is and why you're doing it and why you are the one driving it, or leave this in the hands of the people whose job it actually is.

As it seems some of what I have said is being taken in the wrong context. THIS IS NOT SCARBOROUGH OR SAPA OFFICIAL IN ANY WAY. THIS IS NOT 'CAST' OFFICIAL IN ANY WAY.

There are playtron gypsy who together in the past we have worked at how the playtrons wished to match many of the particular lore that we do. So in the effort to create/develop/etc an unofficial group (much like the queens own, SRG or any other completely unofficial groups out there) we are doing our own thing.

We intend to co-ordinate as much as possible with the official parts thereof, because that is the whole point, to try and make them match up and provide a great time on both sides. That is why I am trying to work with the official people in place and ensure there is no dis-information, nor 'private' information, what of it there might be.

ptts give me a heads up.

Also I am shocked that people seem to be offended that you wanna have a day for outsiders to peek at scarbie versions of gypsy...

Maybe they don't realize this wouldn't be viewed as we are learning hard core facts about how to be Scarborough gypsy like cast exactly?

its not offense my dear, just potential for drama due to misconceptions. Sometimes people misinterpet text. Better to clarify than to start problems.
