For those keeping track at home....
Juliet is doing very well just now. Her last vet visit showed her tipping the scales at above 7lbs, and she has recovered nicely from the last bout of allergies (better than I have, in fact). She continues to be happy, active, alert, and energetic. Her fur is sleek and silky, she flirts and plays as much as she ever has, and curls up with us every ( Read more... ) -
Garden-y stuff!
So, due to the insanely hard clay soil of our yard, and the fact that we are not wealthy enough to pay a landscaper to Make It All Pretty For Us, we've been doing our gardening in bits and pieces. So, we have an inspection date!* And a closing date!** There have been so many potholes on the road that nervous doesn't begin to cover it. Got called to work Market this week - very grateful for the chance to earn some serious money, but it's serious work for the money. As in, I went in at 9AM, and am just now home and ready to sleep. Winter!
Big, fat flakes are drifting down past our windows. Tree branches and grass have a light frosting of white, while cars sport fluffy clouds of sparkling crystal.
