Just found out that Luciano Pavarotti died not too long ago. Normally, celebrity deaths fall into the "big fat whoop" category for me, but his magnificent voice (and somewhat endearing flamboyance) made quite an impact on me as a music lover. Yesterday, I discovered a $30 gift card one of my aunts gave me back at Xmas time for Borders Books.
