my kids refuse to ride their bikes without training wheels. it's a mix of why should i work harder? and that's unsafe, mom.

ha, it'd be a shame if someone broke into your garage and stole their training wheels. ;)

She's athletic and stubborn as a mule. She'd climb it by hooking her toes in the mesh if she had to. Oddly enough, today she has settled and only made a few rushes out the door (we took the gate down) and then she played on her bed and went to sleep.

Our son did the same thing when he was first in a real bed: falling asleep by the gate. So cute and pitiful.
