Quick post

This week, little man learned to ride his bike! I'm so proud! He looks so cute pedaling down the lane. :)

On the other hand, little girl has been able to climb out of her crib for a long time, but she just realized it yesterday.  Cue the mad dash to the mattress store to get her a real bed. It ended up being higher than we expected, so we put a stool at the end of it. We removed everything interesting (like the lamp)from her room and put a baby gate up in her doorway. Of course, her first order of business, when left alone, was to climb off her bed, carry the stool to the baby gate, and start climbing over. PA and I took turns staying in there until she finally went to sleep, hours later.  I don't know where she learned to be so stubborn. *tries to look innocent*

Finished reading Small Gods by Terry Pratchett. PA's favorite Terry Pratchett book. He got it for me for Christmas. My favorite quote: Many feel they are called to the priesthood, but what they really hear is an inner voice saying, "It's indoor work with no heavy lifting, do you want to be a plowman like your father?"

stress, books, kids
