We managed to squish 3 family events into two days. The high points:
Finding an Xbox for PA on Christmas Eve.
Crazy amounts of food.
Little man (age 3) beating Richard (age 22?) at Bust a Move on the Wii. :)
Getting silly string for all the cousins.
I said, "Why do I always get so stressed about the holidays? I always have so much fun!" Oh, yeah, the aftermath. A need to weed out and donate toys, but very little desire, causing a reduced ability to navigate the living room. The untimely demise of the dishwasher, yet very little time spent at home, resulting in a mounting fortress of dishes. Little girl got walking pnuemonia and passed it, in some form, to all of us; so I lost my greatest ally, in Halo and in the home, to Nyquil.
Edit: Oh, my mom just called and told me to bring the kids over to play. I can do whatever I want! I'm cleanin' the house! I know that doesn't sound very exciting, but it means guilt-free Halo later. Aren't moms great?!
