Once again, it's been a while since I posted anything here, so I guess I'm due for an update.

The fifth or sixth Sookie Stackhouse novel. I can't remember which. I've been going through it at a very slow pace. The novels aren't bad, they just aren't compelling enough to make me want to burn through them.

Went to the Maryland Ren Faire this Saturday for pirate weekend. Was supposed to meet up with a few people, but due to a variety of reasons, everyone ended up bailing out, although we did end up meeting one of Jessica's friends there. It's this weekend. Anyone going?

Went to the Maryland ren faire this weekend with aquatea for pirate weekend. There was food, there was drink, there were friends, there were people dressed as pirates, and it was hot. We actually only ended up staying for a few hours because of the latter.

Pirate weekend at the Maryland Ren Faire is coming up this weekend. Anyone going?

Saturday aquatea came over and we watched one of her favorite movies, Garden State. Unfortunately, it's not one of my favorite movies. It was just way too self-consciously quirky and twee for me, which meant that I couldn't really empathize with any of the characters because none of them seemed like real people to me.
