Saturday aquatea came over and we watched one of her favorite movies, Garden State. Unfortunately, it's not one of my favorite movies. Oh, I have no doubt that when you have sex with a woman, she makes weird - some might say "strangled" - noises and spastic movements. And I'm sure she twitches afterwards too.

i think that school having started also doesn't really help with the energy level of the ren faire, but i agree, it was kind of flat. glad jessica enjoyed it anyway! (i'm sure indulging in the commercialism makes it slightly more fun.)

Oddly enough we had talked about going to the PA one yesterday but lately I've been pretty 'blah' to it. Last year we had gone to the MD one with ren virgins and I lasted about three hours in garb before I nearly had a heat stroke. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the amount of alcohol I consumed before noon that day!

I think as it stands with my schedule and lack of enthusiam I will be skipping it this year. Maybe I'm burnt out on it or I need to get my film crew to go with me.

Considering your costume, I'm not surprised. It takes a lot of dedication to wear that outfit. Also, you have to be crazy. But hey, it looks great.

I believe I'll be going to the MD Faire on the weekend of the 22nd-23rd for Pirate weekend. Hopefully on the 23rd, but I'm waiting to see what other people are doing.

I love Garden State. I own the DVD. I have never seen Star Trek II, and I don't plan to.
