24 hours left...
I'm currently making 18 hard-boiled eggs to take to burning man. I've been food shopping, organizing, packing, moving gear-containers, etc. all day and I'm pretty tired. BUT, I'm totally excited and in 24 hours we'll be on our way to another world.

Two things
1) I got better. Fever broke for the last time sunday evening, stayed home from work monday resting more and saw Doc. & got a CBC test which pointed to a virus. Went to work Tues., but I was pretty exhausted/weak. I've been getting stronger and feeling better every day since.

Getting better
So yesterday, my temp got up to 103 around 12:30pm, so I took 3 (200 mg) ibuprofen caplets. Over the next several hours it gradually came down to "normal" (by which I mean between 99 and 99.6--my normal oral temp is almost always below 98.6--but it felt normal relative to the 100+ fever). Even I can get tired of iced water
I ran out of sprite to break the monotony of water, so I whipped up:
- ice
- pineapple juice
- dash of grenadine
- add soda water to taste
Not earth-shatteringly clever, but it's fizzy yum yum. If only I could put rum in it.
