A strange weekend.

  I've gone the whole round this weekend.  From frustration, anger and resignation on Friday to a sense of cautious optimism over the weekend to something approaching outright befuddled amazement today.

It doesn't escape my attention that this a lot of oscillation in the old emotions, and I'm going to keep a lid on my extremes of good or bad

Sex (the nasty, making the beast with two backs, the wild thing, etc.) is definately better when you're emotionally attracted and involved with the other person. And if the other person doesn't really care if you're getting anything out of it, then what's the point?

Sorry about the swollen eye thing. That's happened to me before, it's no fun. :(

My eyes are hung over today - literally. It's like when I used to cry a lot - they're swollen in that way that indicates a lot of stress on them last night. Time for an ice pack for a bit while I have breakfast. :)

Or you could go for the old fashioned remedy and put a raw steak on the swollen one. Of course, the dogs might try and eat you then. :)
