"Stay sharp, all of you," muttered Meta Knight. "Just because we're not rushing into anything right away doesn't mean we should allow ourselves to be caught unawares."

Thinking quickly, she realized the Raihimon's Shield Rot kreuz she'd acquired on Creation Day, nearly dropping it. Green digisoul flashed around her hands as she lifted it again, using it to force a Devimon back.
In the chaos, she'd lost track of Plotmon again. Said digimon was currently tapping something out as she ran towards a Devimon:
Plotmon, evolve!

TAILMON! Cat's Eye!
Tailmon locked eyes with the Devimon she was facing down, one paw glowing.

Kyuubimon charged at another one, calling out "Fox Flame Dragon" enveloping her body in flames.

"This is... just simply..."
Slowly, red Digi-Soul began to burn up around him.
"All we're trying to do is protect this world, and all of the people in it! EVEN YOURSELF! Without this power, we'll never defeat the Demon Kings, and never be able to protect ALL realities from what they're planning... this is something I just... can't... won't ever..."
He gave a yell, and his Digi-Soul roared up around him... and various pieces of his armor blew off his body. "I WILL NEVER FORGIVE THAT!"
Mushamon's eyes widened, and his body began to glow... as the Thousand Arrow attack was launched.
"MUSHAMON, EVOLVE!"

Fire immediately lit around the Perfect Digimon's fists, and he thrust them down into the ground before them. "ASURA SHIN KEN - ASURA GOD FIST!"
The ground exploded, throwing rubble straight up into the path of the blades. Although many still went off to either side of them, this protected them.
Digi-Soul flickering around him, Bakunetsumaru stared wide-eyed at his partner.
"Asura... mon..."
Kijakumaru...
...
The small Gundam's eyes narrowed, and as the dust and snow settled, though blades rained out around them, there was now a clear path straight down the middle of them towards Matadormon.
The Digi-Soul flared wildly again... and, seemed to take shape.

"MATADORMON! You don't understand a thing about what you're facing! AND I, BAKUSHINMARU, WILL MAKE CERTAIN YOU DO NOT WIN THIS DAY!" he roared, thrusting his sword at the Perfect. "THIS SOUL OF MINE BURNS WITH A MIGHTY FLAME!"
He dashed forward, practically flying along the ground, snow melting around him as he ran forward, his Digi-Soul glowing as bright as fire.
"ITS BURNING FIRE TELLS US... TO DEFEAT YOU!!!"
He jumped up, thrusting his blades out at Matadormon.

Bakushinmaru fell to the ground, spinning to face him, steam rising up around around him as snow melted at his feet.
Three Perfects, now.
Matadormon growled lowly. This... was proving difficult...

They didn't come back up, though.
Not right away.
However, seconds after Matadormon landed after Baku's attack, the ground burst apart below him as Drimogemon drilled his way out, horn aimed for Matadormon.
"Drill Spin!"
However, Boota was not with him.
Boota was very small and had boobninja molepig stealth skillz.
No one noticed when Boota had climbed out of the pit and burrowed into the snow, digging rapidly through the snowdrifts toward Matadormon. And as Drimogemon burst out of the ground below Matadormon, Boota, wearing his Dragon's Wings, rocketed out of the snow bank behind Matadormon at full speed. Green digisoul flared around him, making him appear to be a fiery green comet as he charged his target -- Matadormon's crotch."

Oh well, not like he was completely helpless on his own. Far from it, in fact. And it was time to do what he did best.
"CASTLE WALL!"
He called up his signature barrier, creating a forcefield over a wide area to account for most of the flying blades, and hopefully giving everyone else the protection they'd need to get to and charge up the middle.

As, well, she still couldn't hear it called, Tailmon didn't notice it at first and darted in zigzags to try and avoid it. When she realized that blades weren't falling around her, Tailmon changed course, making a Fanbeemonline on all fours for Matadormon. With her front paws occupied like this, she was very careful with the rhythm of her step, before she launched at Matadormon with a Neko Punch.

"Hey, Kouji! Let's try out those battle axes!" Mazinmon said.
"Good idea!" Kouji said, going for his D-Reader. "DIGIMON REALIZE! EJI AND OJI!" At that, the axes didn't appear in the Digimon's hands, yet the handles appeared on the creature's shoulders.
"Let's go! MAZIN DOUBLE TOMAHAWK!" Mazinmon called out, grabbing the handles and pulling upward, releasing the blades. Charing forward, the Perfect Digimon crouched down, then leaped at Matadormon, pulling back, then slashing as a X-Slash of sorts.

Which left the oncoming Tailmon. Matadormon hit the ground, and RAN at the oncoming cat Digimon, jumping and twirling over her punch -
- when finally, something big enough that he COULDN'T dodge came slamming down for him.
He hit the ground and dug his bladed feet into it as Mazinmon swung the tomahawks down. Really, he would have much rather inflicted damage from one of the Adults - in retrospect, he should have let Tailmon hit him.
But such was not the case.
He brought his bladed hands up, catching Mazinmon's axes in them. The force of the swing started to cave in the ground beneath him, and Matadormon grimaced, trying to push back against the other Perfect.
This... would not do at all, but he wasn't in much of a position to do anything
