... there's nothing quite like high school homecoming.  Honestly.  I don't teach at the high school or middle school anymore (or right now) but there's something universally funny about watching the small Homecoming parade they throw for the little kids.  They all get dressed up ridiculously, bond together as a sole unit and scream cheers while

Wait, so this is a thing where high-schoolers come back to their elementary school?

No no no.... the high school is literally about 3 blocks from the elementary school in this small town.... so the high school kids put together a parade and come over and do it for the elementary school kids... and the rest of the town lines the street as well. So literally, they parade through the town for about 20 minutes. But it's funny to watch the little ones.
