They say that it takes you 1/2 the amount of time you were 'with' someone to fully get over them. Since it was near a decade (short of about 4 months), does this mean it'll take me 5 years to get over this pain? I hope not. Starting to make some headway over here.. even if it causes me physical agony, lol. I described it to one of my friends as "it feels like my lungs have been ripped out of my chest" -- dramatic, yes, but when you can't breathe, that IS what it feels like. So... I'm trying really hard to cope with this...but it feels like my chest has been dug out and left hollow and sore. 2am this morning I dialed voicemail, entered my pin and listened to 1 of his messages..then pressed delete.
