The city was often a headache for one Matthew Williams. As nice as the scholarship he had was, this city was definitely nothing like Ottawa. America was definitely not Canada. It took a lot of getting used to.

Though random monster attacks would never be norm for him, he was sure of it. Stupid things like that was the reason he'd found himself in the library at all. That incident with the goo monster had caused him to fall asleep too early later that night, thus making sure he didn't finish his homework for one of his classes so he was playing make up and doing some research.

He tapped his pen against his book. "Thesis ...thesis... Ugh, I hate open ended topics."

And planted his face onto the open pages.

The library was pretty damn huge but she poked around a bit into the heads of some people. It took a while but she finally found some who had seen him and eventually it led her to him. She went to one of the shelves not so far from the table he was at and pulled out a random book, pretending to peruse it and every so often casting side glances his way.

Yup that was him alright. Poor guy looked ready to pass out where he was, she was glad she didn't have to put up with any of that stuff at least. Despite the troubles her lifestyle brought, it also gave her many liberties, liberties she enjoyed very much.

Now how to get in a conversation with him. He was obviously busy so he might not be up for talking. Yea she could probably just look into his head but that would make it way too easy. Her eyes strayed to him once more then to the book in her hands. That was when she caught his words...hmm. Idea~

Cautiously she approached him, mustering up the look of a shy, simple, and innocent girl.

"Um. Excuse me, sir?"

Matt was contemplating a thesis on the smell of book glue and its effects on sleep deprived students when he heard a voice speak to him.turning his head just slightly so he could see, he took in the appearance of a ...pretty red headed girl.

Talking to him.

Matt sat up and realigned his glasses. "Ah, yes? Can I help you?"

"Hey there, um, I'm sorry if I'm bothered you, you look pretty busy." she nodded down at his books and papers--a gesture with the ulterior of actually get a good glimpse at them and their subject matter. History. Okay, good.

"But I'm really not all that sure who else to ask. My study buddy didn't show up and I'm not really good at finding research material fitting to my topic soooo. Would it be too weird or creepy of me to ask if you could help? I'm kind of desperate." Apologetic expression goes here.

"You look like you know what you're doing" And a compliment of course never hurt. All she had to do was get basic information from this guy, nothing too deep, so keeping his attention would be all that was necessary. A little chitchat here and there while he helped her out would be good.
