Oh man I was i so shocked about yesterday's class and learning about all the privacy cases. The Sherwood Inn one was really messed up. I thought that the lecture about IP was very interesting. I didn't really know that there were so many forms of IP such as patent, trademark etc.... i thought Mr. Moskal was a very good speaker. He was so clear as to what his job entailed as well as how strongly he feels about the child porn industry. I was pretty amazed by reading that post about the cell phones and porn. I had no idea that anyone could even track something like that. I guess it's a good idea to be sure that people aren't abusing the use of the phone. I think today's lecture was very eye opening for me. I really didn't know that you couldn't go into another country and perform legal acts there that are illegal in the US. I thought the laws and such that were presented to try and stop children from viewing porn were very inventive and took alot of thought on the people of that time. In this morning's paper there was an article about a man near Albany that is involved i a child porn ring. The article goes on to say that the man wanted to pay $300 to have sex and videotape an 8 year old girl. I thought that this was so crazy i don't even understand why you would want to do that to someone so young. It was also interesting ( Read more... )
