Since I will be almost 60 when the official celebration of the reunification will be back in Dresden in 16 years, I want to see and do as much as possible ( Read more... )

Yes, that is something I often think about! I wonder if we would have gotten internet if things had continued this way, like in China with a lot of pages not available?

I would have not been able to travel to the UK or US and meet RDA or John Barrowman. It would have been a dream.

My first crush was Lex Barker. You may only know him as Tarzan or some other movies, but he was really big in Europe and especially Germany for the movies he filmed over here. I remember once reading a biography in a paper and it said that he died in May 1973. I was born in October the same year, and I remember thinking what a shame it was that I never was able to going to meet him.

Never mind that it would have been impossible if he was still alive anyway!
