Today was the day of the open city hall in Dresden. We saw the mayor's bling - chain of office and city hall key - and also President Obama's signature in our Golden book. "Greetings from the people of the United States" he wrote, and he brought this clock as a gift. We also met the woman who writes these nice letters into the book with the names ( Read more... )

Our local flower shop at the street corner always has the best shop window decorations. They are for sale also, I often have bought something I've never seen anywhere else before. We interrupt our "Grand Budapest Hotel" location hunting and look today at castle Moritzburg which is located near Dresden.
