DeAnna's recovery had been something of a miracle. Doctors were scratching their heads at how quickly she recovered. Even Terrence was a bit concerned, wondering at times if she was going through a transformation herself

The last few days had been incredibly difficult for DeAnna. The vampire attack had given her nightmares and she hadn’t really slept much over the past week. In her mind she relived the attack and found balancing work and her home life almost impossible. Work was a boon in that she didn’t have to answer personal questions or be asked every few seconds if she needed something or was fine. She loved her Family dearly but even RD seemed shaken by her circumstances and that rattled her more deeply than anyone else’s reactions. With the exception of her own; DeAnna wasn’t the type of person to hold on and bury her emotions but the fear was palpable and she knew that others sensed it when they looked at her

He then grabbed his keys and then jogged out to the parking lot to meet her. Once he saw her, he threw his arms around her and gave her a squeeze. Terrence gave her a quick kiss on the lips before offering both genuine concern and assistance. "How are you? You all right? Or...maybe I can take your things inside and we can talk privately?"
When she saw Terrence crossing the street to her car, she got out of it and readily flung herself into his embrace. The feeling of his arms around her made her feel safe and not so paranoid. "I'm not myself but I'm all right otherwise. Sure, let's get inside. I just have the one suitcase." She motioned to the back seat of her car. Terrence was ever the gentleman and she knew he'd carry her suitcase inside for her. She followed him closely and held his free hand

"So...I shouldn't have offered to carry your suitcase?" Terrence was just kidding though, trying to momentarily lighten the mood before becoming serious again.
He sat close to her on the couch and put his arms around her. "What happened...scared everyone that cares about you. Even if they didn't even fully know what really happened. And...I gotta admit, what I saw scared me. I was worried...you were transforming."
Terrence shivered slightly. "But thankfully, you seem mostly okay though...I definitely got a vibe you're not quite the same..."
ooc: So sorry for the delay. Crazy past couple days. ^^;
DeAnna shook her head and invited Eion close to where she stood with Terrence. “I’d really like to get this thing’s toxins out of me. Do you think it would be better to come over to T’s place and do it there? Or would I be able to get back to his apartment before I crashed?”
DeAnna continued to hold Terrence’s hand. While it had not been unpleasant when Eion had diagnosed her she still was wary of magic. Some things in nature she preferred to remain storybook and movie fodder. It didn’t mean they didn’t actually exist or were necessary; as Terrence was for example; but that she would just prefer them to not be present in her own life.
"While you could make it back to Terrence's place, it might be best to do it there. That way, we're not taking any chances, plus you'd be more comfortable," Eion answered.
"Then let's head back to my place. So uh...I can take you there, Eion, but you want me to drive you back here or-" Terrence began.
"I can get back on my own, but I'll go with you to your place," Eion finished.
With a nod, Terrence took DeAnna's hand and followed Eion back to his car.
A short while later, Terrence, Eion and DeAnna were in Terrence's apartment. "Why don't you lay down on the bed?" Terrence offered. "I'm sure you'll be more comfortable there."
Eion gave a nod and waited for DeAnna to make herself comfortable.
"Maybe." she said holding Eion's gaze. "But honestly? I would rather have you heal me here in the living room." She sat down on the couch and removed her shoes and lay down on the cushion. It was clear that she wanted Terrence's bedroom to remain a private sanctuary for the both of them. Even though Eion was offering his help she did not want to associate anything negative with it.
"I really appreciate you helping me. I know you're doing this because of your relationship with Terrence but, I am grateful."
Eion had no qualms about casting the spell in the living room and his reply to her choice was supportive. "Whatever is more comfortable for you." But he looked a little taken back when DeAnna stated that Eion was only helping her because of Terrence. To that remark, he shook his head. He tone of voice when he corrected her didn't show any anger; in fact he actually sounded a bit disappointed. "Even if you were a complete stranger, I would help you. We try to help anyone in trouble as best as we can, actually

As the next three days progressed DeAnna’s strength returned and she was able to thank Terrence for his care of her properly as she had promised him she would. However feeling back to normal as she was she didn’t want to return home to her empty apartment and chose instead to stay with Terrence. He didn’t seem to mind and she was beginning to wonder if she should ask him if he felt ready to combine their households and move in together. She had already put in to change the time of her shifts at the beau to nights so that her schedule could reflect his more. Even though he hadn’t asked her to do that, she felt it was only fair. It took her about two weeks to adjust to the change but once her bio-rhythms altered she didn’t find the change off putting at all.
While Terrence was watching a game on television DeAnna was cleaning her service weapon, her green eyes shifted to him. “Hey T? I was thinking…What would you feel about maybe looking for another place for the two of us to move into? You know, together?”
Terrence did enjoy DeAnna's company. He was a bit surprised though when she decided to change her schedule so they would be working similar shifts. It was nice having her around when he got home.
When asked if about moving in together, he was pleasantly surprised. "Really?!" But then he began to consider things for a moment and began to wonder if maybe DeAnna's family would wonder if he was taking her away from them.
"I'd like that DeAnna. I really would," he began. "But I just...it's not that I'm opposed to doing this. It's just that I was wondering...do you think your family might wonder if I'm...I dunno, keeping you from them? It's not that way, I know. But I...it's just that my kind is known for a possessive streak. I-I wouldn't want any sorta wedge to form between you and them." He took her hand. "I love you DeAnna, I really do. And I definitely would be up for moving in together. I just don't want any sorta misconceptions."
DeAnn cocked her head to one side and smiled at Terrence, the laughter she felt but did not release dancing in her green eyes. “Wait, what? T, your kind might be possessive, but you have never ONCE made me feel like I was a prisoner, or couldn’t be with family and friends when I wanted too. You have never held me back from anything I wanted to do, EVER.” She laughed and reached out with a hand to rest it upon his thigh closest to her. “You didn’t ask me to change my schedule, I did that on my own. I’ve adjusted to that, my family and friends know when I can or can’t see them, and I have not heard one single complaint from anyone that they feel I spend too much time with you. And if they ever do,” DeAnna paused and held up her 9mm clip. “They can stick it, because no one tells me what to do. A boss, sure but in my personal life? NEVER
( ... )
"It's not that I thought I came off as possessive to you, but didn't know if maybe your family was getting that vibe," Terrence explained. "And I doubt you'd stand for that sorta behavior being told where you have to go and what to do and whatnot. Or just being held prisoner." He clasped his hand around her wrist and in a mock villain voice added, "And being never able to leave, Mwhahahaha."
"I see you using that thing," he continued, pointing to the clip, "On someone who tried to keep you captive." With that, he released her wrist. "Even supernatural, bullets hurt. Not as lethal, but still painful. A few shot would give someone pause, that's for sure. Unless you shot a ghost. Cuz then the bullet would go through him."
This time, he didn't tease her about the hair flip though but just chuckled. "So, what kind of place were you thinking about?"
