The polite thing to do under these circumstances is to apologise and move on. There are many situations in life where you DON'T MEAN to offend someone, but if they (and in this case many other people) perceived it as upsetting, that's reason enough to apologise. A simply sorry, and deletion of stuff that caused offence in first place would have sufficed as the diplomatic solution

Actually, some mates of mine were having a discussion about which panties they find cute. Dear God in heaven... you are a CREEP. You tar yourself with that brush by being a creep. You make a post about whether or not she wears a thong, you tag posts with her name and BODY PARTS just in case there was any doubt... you act like her feelings and those of her husband are just one opinion no more important than your own when we're talking about HER BODY, HER IMAGE, and HER FEELINGS. Your opinion is just an opinion. His and hers aren't.

If in your opinion you're no objectifying her but treating her as a real person, then maybe we've hit on the real problem: to you, this is just the way men relate to women. What you're doing to Sonia is just what women are for, to you. At least the good looking ones.

Not to interject myself into this lovely Internet dramaz, but I'd like to focus on one thing for the moment and point out that she was actually the one to post publicly on the Internet the fact she wears a thong along with pictures

I've been trying to find a way to write this but I'm having trouble even knowing where to start. This whole thing has spread across six threads (that I know of) and four accounts, and I came into it a bit late. It's a lot to process. :) I'm going to try to recap the timeline I've loosely put together as I attempted to follow this after the fact, and how it has come across to someone who wasn't caught up in the high emotions of the ongoing drama. Nobody seems to fully understand the extend of Ian's stalkerish ways. It's pretty clear what's going on here. Ian created this blog in 2005 intent on using it to stalk a future public figure in comics
