Vid update!

Sep 26, 2011 09:32

Remember what I said about finishing the vid this weekend? Yeaaah, I didn't really think it would happen, either.
BUT I've got a good excuse as to why it didn't go that way! And for me to explain it, I have to reveal part of the mystery surrounding the superseekrit vid:( cut for long vidding rant )

projects, vidding

OH! THAT'S RIGHT, YOU DID! THE SHIRLEY VID!!! And it was a fantastic vid, too! Oh gosh, now it all makes sense. I was trying to remember which vid I saw with it, because I'd always wanted to vid to an Elvis song and when I saw it I loved it and was convinced that Elvis COULD be used, no matter what I thought before.

Oh, I should definitely thank you for the inspiration, then! :)

Sports vid! You are so much braver than I. I am full of crazy ideas that never get done (Like my Arab Spring video I wanted do to 'Long Road to Ruin' by the Foo Fighters, but I just don't even know where to begin'). It's awesome that you are getting it done. I can't wait to see it!

Wow! You were thinking of doing an Arab Spring vid??? That is bold. Brave and bold. Oh, I'd love to see that. But I definitely understand the trepidations there...
Oh, a sports vid is not brave, it's just... crazy. XD
haha but thanks! I hope you'll like it. This is so much different than anything I've ever done (but then again, not so much... it's weird!), I have no way of knowing if what I'm doing is good or utter crap. But that's liberating in a way. lol :)

I did not like it, I didn't really understand it, and I thought it was the most boring sport in the world (after golf. You can't beat golf). I went from coma-induced spectator to raving, obsessed fangirl in a matter of two days.

I totally did this with soccer during the 2002 World Cup (almost after the World Cup actually). xD Not even in a matter of two days, more like in a matter of two minutes. xD

lol but that's exactly what happened to me! I started liking it at the end of the major event. My mom was watching it and she was like "You have to watch this with me! It's fantastic" and I was skeptical, but I said "OK, this looks interesting... It's new and excit--zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz". lol It happened with two matches until, when I was almost done trying, my mom said "No, but watch now! You'll like this guy!" aaaaaand she was right that time. lol DAMN YOU MOM FOR KNOWING ME TOO WELL! *shakey fist* XD

EEEEE! :D My father and my friends were all "the World Cup just started, you should watch it, it's awesome", and I just kept replying that "no, I don't like soccer, I really, really don't like soccer." xD And about 3 weeks into the World Cup I saw a random Fiat ad with Francesco Totti, LOL, and I became the biggest soccer fangirl for years. xD

hahahaha Yeah, the World Cup has that effect on you. I live in Brazil and the World Cup has always been this huuuuuge thing here. I used to love it because each time Brazil played, we'd have a holiday to watch the games (they've only now made that official, which is crazy because it happened all the time). So I had an even bigger reason to root for my country. lol

But I hate soccer. I fall asleep during games, it's soooooo boring. And yet I absolutely love the World Cup. lol I guess that's what I get for being born here. XD
