There's a different sort of Noah just leaning against the hallway wall, arms crossed over his chest and eyes closed. Of course he's held in place by the mistletoe but he's not fighting it, complaining or letting it bother him. Once he noted his ability wouldn't free him, he resigned himself to his fate.
Perhaps the plant would just get bored of the man's calm attitude and free him on its own. If not, well, he could stand here for ages.]
[Gabriel was going toward one of the many chapels in this place when he's stopped by the appearance of Cross covered in vines. He recognizes the plant - of course - but it makes no sense why the hemi-parasitic plant covered Cross the way it has.]
[Cross opened his eyes when he heard the other's voice, a brow raising at the sight of the angel. Well. He hadn't expected to see Gabriel here again so soon. Not after their last parting.]
I could use it but you don't need to if you don't want to.
[The Noah would reach out for the smaller man if only the plant hadn't thought it fun to make sure his arms would stay crossed over his chest. Damned thing. Tease would enjoy it later.]
I freed someone earlier with a kiss though I'm not sure that is required.
It's mistletoe, is it not? That is normally the price to move away from it.
[Unusual too, the soft look in the angel's eyes. He examines the plant and looks around for other suggestions of freeing someone. However he doesn't see any.
And in his quest he doesn't notice the plant reaching for him either.]
[Gabriel turns his head toward Cross just a little too late. The mistletoe wraps around both of his legs and hoists the angel upside down, dangling him in front of Cross. Their heads are on the same level at least, makes the Spiderman-kiss easier to do.]
[Cross just... Stares at how the mistletoe snagged, and held on to Gabriel. Squirming a bit, the larger managed to loosen his arm enough to reach up, cupping the angel's cheek.]
...I might join you in that.
[Without another word, Cross leaned in, pressing his lips to the other's in a deep kiss. One would think he missed such interaction with the archangel.]
[He's actually about to use a bit of his power to attempt to burn it when Cross pulls him in for a kiss. The flare of blue sputters out to the darker shade it normally is when his lips meet Cross'. Gabriel gives a slight groan into the kiss, mouth opening easily to him. Perhaps you did miss him a little bit...?]
[He would rather not end up getting burned with some holy fire if Gabriel got too angry at the plant. That groan gets the larger man to move away from the loosened plant to reach up, holding the sides of Gabriel's head in place.
[It would just be a normal fire, actually. None of that holy stuff for the Archangel when mundane items kill the Fallen. Gabriel keeps kissing Cross back, his own hands slipping over Cross'.
[Well, normal fire was alright then. That wouldn't end in him in screaming pain, right? Cross, with the angel's head in his hands, leaned back against the wall, nipping at the smaller's lips gently.
Well. The fondue started it. They could still blame it if they wanted to.]
[Gabe might for a while since he can't phase things but he'd probably manage to heal himself. Thankfully the plant hasn't let go of Gabriel just yet so he hasn't dropped like a stone. Hands are sliding slightly into the other's hair as he returns the gentle nip.
[No fire then. Ever. Slowly, almost at a regretful sort of pace, the Noah broke the kiss, moving his hands from the angel's face to hold out his arms as the plant released Gabriel, catching the smaller man with ease.
[Gabe would still probably set it if the plant would burn properly. Just the way the angel was. He almost chases after the kiss but stops as he's dropped and caught. Gabriel's arms move to wrap around Cross' neck, waiting for the other to put him down.]
