The only mess is on her desk, where an Ace of Hearts card, typewritter, clock parts, laptop, some jewelery and papers are scattered haphazardly on top.]

[He steps inside and shuts the door behind him setting his hat on a nearby table. He doesn't move next to her, but leans against the wall instead.]
