[Its been quite awhile since Miranda has made anything complicated in the kitchen and was in a bright enough mood to try something new. She wanted to try making tarts, she's always wanted to try making tarts... But apparently it was a little tougher than she had first thought

[She finally found the kitchen again. She blinks at the kneeling woman.] Um, what are you doing?

[Hello kitty, guess you didn't notice the dog sitting on the other side of her did you? Well, the little Chinese Crested is trotting over to her now.]

Watching the tarts.

[Not really a dog person. Still, she doesn't hate them. She'll kneel down to check the dog out.] Sounds fun. Is he friendly?

[Miranda didn't even notice Colin had moved. She was took intent on watching the tarts.]

Oh, of course.

[Colin is a bit anti-social when it comes to other animals. There aren't that many around the dressing room, but he loves people. He sniffs her gently, wagging his tail.]

[Kitchen=food! He's so happy! Running over to the fridge now. He glances her way, getting a bunch of stuff out.] What are you baking?

[Miranda doesn't even look from the oven. Only one white haired boy ever goes straight for the fridge.]

Lemon tarts.

Really? Haven't baked those in a while. How much longer do you have to wait? [Eating happily. He loves talking about cooking almost as much as he loves eating.]

You bake?...

[That makes her turn to look at the boy.]

Oh... Um?... 5 more minutes?...

Are you really planning to stare at the oven until it's done?

[Kneeling next to her. staring at the oven as well]

Yes.

[She probably has one of those Oven tans already.]

What exactly are you making?

Lemon tarts.

[Don't mind Link. He's just idling somewhere behind her, watching as she stares into the stove.]

Miss Lotto, I do believe it will not go anywhere. You may take your eyes off of it for now.

I messed up the last two times because I wasn't watching. I'm not taking my eyes of them this time.

Then might I suggest a chair?

[He motions to the nearest one, willing to go get it if she likes the idea.]

[She can see straight into the oven at this angle... She probably has one of those oven tans by now as well.]
