[Its been quite awhile since Miranda has made anything complicated in the kitchen and was in a bright enough mood to try something new. She wanted to try making tarts, she's always wanted to try making tarts... But apparently it was a little tougher than she had first thought

[Kitchen=food! He's so happy! Running over to the fridge now. He glances her way, getting a bunch of stuff out.] What are you baking?

[Miranda doesn't even look from the oven. Only one white haired boy ever goes straight for the fridge.]

Lemon tarts.

Really? Haven't baked those in a while. How much longer do you have to wait? [Eating happily. He loves talking about cooking almost as much as he loves eating.]

You bake?...

[That makes her turn to look at the boy.]

Oh... Um?... 5 more minutes?...

Ah. Yeah. Haven't gotten a chance to do much baking since I got here, though. I'm pretty good at it. [Not as good as he'd like, but he makes tasty treats.] But for some reason, I can only cook a few dishes. I'm not really good at cooking... [Don't mind if he begins noming away. Nom nom nom.] Why, is that strange?

Oh, I thought... Well... When you have Jerry and Link around... When have you ever had the chance to do so?

Link? I haven't seen him in quite some time. [Smiling at her and tilting his head to the side, curious.] Jerry used to let me cook in the kitchens sometimes but... Since I don't live at the Order anymore, I have more time to try the new recipes I always wanted to try.

Y-You don't?...

Nope. I moved out a little while ago. Living in an apartment now. [Doesn't realize she doesn't know his backstory otherwise he'd explain. He thinks she's his Miranda.] Don't you remember stopping by to see me? I think you were lost at the time, though.

I don't think so... My Allen is still living at the Black Order...

Oops, sorry. I mistook you. Well, the Black Order isn't really around anymore in my world. Or rather, it's there mostly for show. A lot of the others stayed but I figured it couldn't hurt to try living on my own for a bit. [Happily eating still.] What's your world like?

Oh my, is the war over?... Its still going on in my world... I-I think... I haven't been home in two years.. I-I wouldn't really know...

Well, it's not really over. It's just that we managed to defeat the Earl's master plan. [Flashing a bright smile at her.] You...ah, or rather the Miranda I know. She was amazing. We couldn't have defeated the Earl without her. [More happy eating] Of course, that's expected of the Heart.

O-Oh, so you found it... B-But you would still have to stop the Earl and the Noah... T-Then the war would be over...
