Elijah's a little sheepish, but he does deal well with kids, so it isn't too sheepish. "We're -- um, playing pirates." And he gestures at his laptop. "I'm supposed to be Navigator."

She's still a little confused, but she can work with that. "Pirates?" And then another smile. "I'm sure you're doing wonderfully at it."

And that would be him turning slightly pink. "Well-- they, um, obviously see me unfit for any real pirate station, so-- so I guess I'm supposed to watch the 'map' and make sure that we don't 'crash'."

"I can see that! Sorriest lookin' buncha landlubbers I ever seen, though. Where's yer cap'n, matey? I'll show 'em how t'run a real ship!" He waves his arms around, being very mellowdramatic about it all.

He's not going to get much help from Elijah (who's the closest to him), unfortunately. Elijah half-starts at someone actually talking to him, then shrugs a little. "I-- I actually don't know. I think we're playing pirates."
