Well, this is certainly unusual, but that won't stop Jael from approaching and wondering about it, head tilted to one side. "What's this supposed to be?"

Elijah's a little sheepish, but he does deal well with kids, so it isn't too sheepish. "We're -- um, playing pirates." And he gestures at his laptop. "I'm supposed to be Navigator."

She's still a little confused, but she can work with that. "Pirates?" And then another smile. "I'm sure you're doing wonderfully at it."

And that would be him turning slightly pink. "Well-- they, um, obviously see me unfit for any real pirate station, so-- so I guess I'm supposed to watch the 'map' and make sure that we don't 'crash'."

And for someone in the spirit of things, have a Cellophane, who looks rather distinctly amused. "Arr, mateys. What be ye at?"

Jacob stood tall (though that's not really that hard, when you're 6'4") and eyed the 'boat' appraisingly, "Now, what have we here, maties?"

"I can see that! Sorriest lookin' buncha landlubbers I ever seen, though. Where's yer cap'n, matey? I'll show 'em how t'run a real ship!" He waves his arms around, being very mellowdramatic about it all.

Hobbits generally tend to not know much about pirates and ships but this one does tend towards being something of an expert when it comes to confusion. "What's going on then?"

He's not going to get much help from Elijah (who's the closest to him), unfortunately. Elijah half-starts at someone actually talking to him, then shrugs a little. "I-- I actually don't know. I think we're playing pirates."

"Um-- well, the word's -- it's usually talking about water-bound criminals in general. But -- but a stereotype is that they have a certain speech pattern and -- other things -- ...am I making sense at all?"

Feeling rather brave -- one might argue stupidly so -- Dario cupped his hands over his mouth and yelled, "NINJAS ARE BETTER!"

Lena, never one to be far from Dario's side, is of course with him, and slaps her hands over his mouth quickly, giggling. "Dario! Your freak legs aren't enough to save you if they decide to attack."

"...oh, you didn't," Sammy says in a threatening tone, though he's grinning. "I s'pose I'll have to take both of you hostage and bring you to the captains, or something."

"Oh, take him hostage. He's the vulnerable, damsel-in-distress type." Lena grins back. "Me, I have experience as a pirate navigator. Much more useful as that than a mere hostage, wouldn't you say?"
