Water.

monkeybard was stating that water has been her issue, as neither her nor her husband's signs are water signs. The same goes for me and my husband, and I think that's evident given the events of the past few months ( Read more... )

You spent several hours crawling around the attic removing insulation? You are seriously tough! I would have called for professionals, or possibly tried to convince Brian to do it.

thanks. ;)
yeah, I hate our attic. but, at least with me doing it, if anyone puts a hole through the ceiling, i can't blame anyone but myself. ;) it was a less than fun experience, i'm not looking forward to replacing the insulation once the leaks are stopped...*sigh*

Oh, honey! I'm so sorry! But you can't have my plumbers until I'm done with them. ;P

nah, it's not a plumbing problem, it's other things caused by water. so I just need a new disposal, a new dishwasher, and my dad and I will patch the roof. nothing (knock on wood) is wrong with our pipes. yet.

Well that's good. Best of luck with the roofing!

Speaking of projects and your dad... D'you think he'd be willing to lend some tools for Laura and i to build some treatment rooms? We're looking at a new space, and we have stagehands willing to do the labor if we can find the right tools. That would save so much more money than a contractor.

Good luck with the roof walking. I don't know about your correlation between signs and problems. Greg is a fire sign, and had a horrible house fire and now is all paranoid about extinguishers and such. Who knows though?

it's entirely possible he'd be willing to loan you tools. let me know specifically which ones you need, and i'll check. he wouldn't be able to loan for an extended period of time, as he's working on his own house, and needs them as well, but i can imagine he'd be able to loan them for a week or two, possibly more...

i don't think we'll need them for more than a week. Sheesh I hope not. Awesome! That's a huge relief, cause Mike's only worry was that he wouldn't have big enough tools.
