So, tonight, an excursion was held. Rob, Andy, Scott and I headed down to the Naperville location of Heaven on Seven for their semi-monthly "Hot as a Mutha Monday" event. My mouth was watering as I read that and simultaneously my throat was closing and sweat was breaking out on my forehead.

I love spicy food, I just wish I had more tolerance for eating it. What you've outlined would literally kill me.

Apparently, the last event was the one we needed to be at for the "ZOMG THE BURNINGGGGGGG" dishes. The ones offered last night were definitely spicy (although my good companions were all pretty damn desensitized) but the flavors and aromas were much more powerful than I expected. It was, in a sense, a perfect balance of spiciness and flavors.

We're so going to the next one, since the menu changes each time. :)

I'm not usually one for food that is too hot...but that menu combined so many of my favorite foods...and sounds so yummy...ohmanamihungry
