Link doesn't usually mind girls crying because of him, but it's usually because they're watching him on TV or see him on the street or something. He's not used to making them cry because of ... Anything else. It's even worse because he actually likes Tracy, and he wants to help her, but he's got to do what's best for him. Right? Right

"...I don't think there is anyone who can help." She's probably not quite what he's used to, with the goth look she has from the fishnet gloves and black ruffles (and the not swooning over him), but Shilo gives the new arrival a slight, shy smile as she steps closer. "Hi."

The goth look certainly throws Link off. He takes a step back, but flashes her a smile right back.

"No one who can help?"

It might help that she's quite young and pretty. "Well, if you were looking for a way out...I don't think there is one..."

[council_crooner]

"Well ... There's gotta be a way out." The young and pretty thing helps slightly, but her over all look still weirds him out a bit. "I mean, there's a way in."

Genevieve walks out of her room, actually, when she hears Link's question, and it doesn't take her long to make up her mind about what the situation is.

"Hello, are you lost?"

She figures it's the easy way to get him some answers. Thankfully, she's slept and she's not completely a mess, or completely exhausted as she's been for the whole week. She's still ridiculously confused, though.

"Oh - yes." He smiles a little. "I think I must have taken the wrong door." Which sounds ridiculous, but he needs to tell himself these things for himself.

"That is what I thought as well when I arrived," she says with a small smile. "Where were you trying to go?"

[council_crooner]

"I was just trying to get home." He looks around. "This doesn't look like anything I've seen in Baltimore."

"It's kind of late for help to do any good." Warren is slouched on a couch with a book in his hand, the two of them probably look like what would happen if there was a mirror that showed the person's exact opposite. He gives the new guy a long, appraising look; he isn't impressed.

Link returns the look. There's something ... Weird about this guy. And it's not just the attitude.

"Thanks for being so specific."

[notavillain]

He shrugs. "You're stuck in a hotel on a tropical island that doesn't exist, there's not much to be specific about."

[council_crooner]

"There's no need to have an attitude about it." It might just be his ego, but Link really doesn't appreciate the way Warren's talking to him. Doesn't he realize who Link is? After all, what kid doesn't watch the Corny Collins Show.

Now here's a girl who's used to swooning over rock stars, though usually ones a little rougher and older than Link.

Polexia approaches with a smirk, running a hand through her long brown hair. "It's like... some weird time/space-defying hotel thingy," she shrugs. "God, you look startled."

He watches her, taking in the way she looks and wondering where she came from. Certainly not the record shop, and probably not even Baltimore at all.

"... It's what?" Yes, he is a bit startled.

She laughs a little. "I know, I thought it was a bad trip at first, too," she tells him. "But basically? You're somewhere else and then, ta-da, you're here. Nobody knows how or why."

[council_crooner]

"... A bad trip?" He shakes his head, deciding not to ask. "That sort of thing doesn't really just happen." Maybe he hit his head.

[needsasherpa]

"Hi." There's a bit of an awkward, but friendly enough smile. "I'm -- uh, guessing you just got here, right?"

[council_crooner]

And he's another awkward smile, just a bit more flashy. "I -- What?"

"You just got here, right?" Bobby blinks a little and looks at Link's clothes. "...From, uh, wherever people still wear stuff like that, I guess."

[council_crooner]

"... What do you mean?" Link glances down at his clothes. He is always in style - then again, maybe some people in other parts of the country don't dress like they do in Baltimore. Which would be ... Weird.
