Link doesn't usually mind girls crying because of him, but it's usually because they're watching him on TV or see him on the street or something. He's not used to making them cry because of ... Anything else. It's even worse because he actually likes Tracy, and he wants to help her, but he's got to do what's best for him. Right? Right

"It's kind of late for help to do any good." Warren is slouched on a couch with a book in his hand, the two of them probably look like what would happen if there was a mirror that showed the person's exact opposite. He gives the new guy a long, appraising look; he isn't impressed.

[council_crooner]

Link returns the look. There's something ... Weird about this guy. And it's not just the attitude.

"Thanks for being so specific."

[notavillain]

He shrugs. "You're stuck in a hotel on a tropical island that doesn't exist, there's not much to be specific about."

[council_crooner]

"There's no need to have an attitude about it." It might just be his ego, but Link really doesn't appreciate the way Warren's talking to him. Doesn't he realize who Link is? After all, what kid doesn't watch the Corny Collins Show.

Warren wouldn't have been watching it even if it was on where he came from. And unfortunately for Link, Warren almost always has an attitude. "Well, it's all true. If you don't want to hear it, that's your problem."

[council_crooner]

"How'd I get stuck on an island that doesn't exist?" he huffs, bringing up a hand to fix his hair.
