This moronic typist human says that she'll let me watch Hello Kitty if I do this making a post such as this is bound to cause insanity and since that is my job, I suppose I'm forced to agree to it. Thus, I pose you this question:

Which came first, the fruit or the colour orange?

There are orange flowers, you know, as well as other orange objects naturally occuring in nature.

Yes, but do they naturally occur anywhere else?

Duh, the color. There are orange flowers, orange dirt, all kinds of stuff. So there was definitely orange-colored stuff before there were actual oranges. We just weren't around to call it a dumb word like "orange" then!

well, i suppose that should be obvious -- shouldn't it? i mean, oranges are orange, and what's orange? oranges, i expect. and what are oranges? orange! ... i expect. and if an orange weren't orange, well, then, it shouldn't be as much of an orange, should it? and if orange wasn't oranges, or oranges weren't orange, or orange wasn't orange, why, then -- it couldn't be color one could take much confidence in, could it? i mean, it ought to know what it is at least.

oughtn't it?

... though, i'll admit like apples best. *munches on one*
