*peers around cautiously, taking in everything* Well, I hope I don't get caught on the computer. Gordon wouldn't be too happy about that. *rolls her eyes, but still looks slightly frightened* Right now I'm at what they would call a "foster home", but what we call a hellhole. "We" includes my sisters - there's a total of four of us. We're not ( Read more... )

*thinks for a moment* So far, four out of the four most important guys in my life have been in that category. I'd like Mama to be proven wrong, but it hasn't happened yet. ... Not that some women are much better.

I'll definitely give everyone a chance to prove my thoughts wrong, though. *smiles*

*smiles a little* Thanks, Adrien. *not seeming to be particularly directed towards Rac* But words, actions, and promises alone won't succeed to earn a person's trust. Only time will tell.

*looks back at him* Pleased to meet you, though.

*smarmy smile* Now, sweetheart, you may have such a view of men, but what of gods...?

*sharp look* God or not, you remind me a lot of Jimmy, a guy that I once knew. That's not really a good thing, either.

If you're serious: If actual gods have been watching over me, then I suppose they've been doing the same sort of thing, but in a different way. *frowns in thought*

I met your sister/roommate the other day in the chat room. She seems to be a really nice person, and I'm sure that you are as well!

I hardly judge people by their family, and no one should. In my world, two Muggles (non-magic folk) can give birth to a kid who has immense magical powers. It's quite inspiring. *smiles*

Brooke, I'd assume? She is really nice, isn't she. I adore her.

Well, that's good to know that at least someone doesn't. At the school I used to go to, everyone did, and it wasn't much fun. ... Magic sounds exciting! *small smile*

Hi! You're pretty too, miss. I hope that doesn't make you sad.

*blush* Thanks. It doesn't make me sad at all. It's a very good thing to hear, especially when someone is going into the entertainment business.

... You know, I think you'd get along well with Butterfly. She's a delicate thing, and loves to dance. She always gets along well with the younger ones. *smiles*

Oh, good! *smiles brightly* It made Brooke sad, I think, and you're her friend. I shouldn't like to make people sad.

Oh! I would. I've met butterflies before, and they've all been peculiar. I don't believe they've ever danced for me, though.

Don't worry. I'm sure Brooke wasn't too sad. All wounds heal in the end.

This Butterfly ... is special. She is a girl around my age, but your size. She could probably dance ballet for you, if you'd like. *smiles*

Hello! I think I met your sister Brooke the other day. She mentioned you once or twice, I think. Anyway, my name's Hermione Granger. I'm at the same school as Luna: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

A pleasure to meet you, I'm sure.

Hello, Hermione! Are you the person who reminds Brooke of Crystal?

Crystal, one of my four sisters, is very hardworking and committed to knowledge. She knows just about everything, or at least where to find it, and wants to be a scientist when she grows up. *smiles* If you're anything like her, then I'm sure we'll get along just fine.
