You remind me of someone that I rather wholeheartedly detest.

Do I really? Was he as handsome as I am? *preens*

He couldn't have been. ... Where's that blasted magic mirror when I need it? You know, the one that tells me I'm pretty and all?

... MIRROR! ... MIRROR?! ... Hang on.

*leaves, supposed to find the mirror, but will definitely get distracted by something else and forget to come back*

He was quite as egotistical, at the least.

Maybe you should meet my brother-in-law. And his friend, Andrew.

*bows*

Really? What's his name? Is he a prince like me? Does he have as shiny of a crown as I do? Has he been married to varied and assorted princesses and not have a proper last or first name like I do? ... Is he as charming as I am? *hair toss*

He's not a prince, but a baronet. But he loves shiny things and nice clothes, and he's as brave as a lion. He's only been married to my sister and his name is Sir Percy Blakeney.

I've met him already. He's quite the nice fellow.

*smirks a tad evilly* Hello, sir! *grins and, while he's distracted, yoinks hairbrush and hides it behind her back* A pleasure to meet you, I'm Jo March.

..I think my sisters might get along with you.

Hello, hello! Why, what a charming young lady you are, Miss March! And sisters, you say! Are any of them in distress at the moment? I should like to save them.

... Now if you'll excuse me ...

*goes back to brushing his hair ... er, finding his hair brush*

*digs around in various drawers*

*tears apart his dresser top*

... *finds something shiny and gets distracted by it*

*bristles* I am not a lady. Never want to be one, as a matter of fact. *silently throws brush somewhere far, far away*

..Amy could be termed to be in distress. She might like you, after all.

I am not! I'm distressed, and it's different. Don't you try to get rid of me with shiny distractions, sister.

*bows politely* Pleased to meet you, your highness.

Please be a second son - I don't think I can stand the thought of a kingdom that poorly run, even if it isn't mine.

*smiles proudly* Thank you! Why, fancy meeting someone who knows his place.

No, sorry lad, I'm first born and only child. That's why I get spoiled so. Of course, I deserved to be spoiled. Why, they even bought me my own horse last summer! And quite the beauty he was. Shining white ... And he ran as fast as the wind! ... I only need a suit of armour now, and I'll be properly fitted to save a maiden. ... If I can find a maiden to save. Now that's my real problem. Because without a maid-- MPHHH!

Typist: ... Sorry.

*smile with teeth* Merely the courtesy one monarch may extend a future fellow monarch, sir.

*quite horrified*

*decides to put his faith in the wonders that are bishops and advisers*

I'm an only child as well. As to horses... I've always preferred chestnuts myself.

Oh, a ruler, yourself? Quite nice to meet you, then. How do you take care of those people?

I like a little discipline, myself. *smacks hand with other hand to make an ... emphasis* Why, I remember when my father told me--

*blathers on and on and on*
