*since it worked so well last time, here's another note on the bulletin board*
To all those who are working to have a church here, and others who are not, but would gladly join us:
I would like for us to celebrate the Feast of the Dormition of the Holy Theotokos, together and as a church -- for even with the building still unfinished, I would think of us as a church. Though food has been scarce, especially of late, if everyone is willing to prepare some thing for the feast, I think we will have enough for all ... It should be an occasion for rejoicing, as we remember the Ever-Virgin Mary, who died as all men do but, having fallen asleep in the Lord, did then joyfully awake, and so will every one of us on the day of resurrection. I will move tables out to the lawn this Thursday, so we might have the feast and celebration there; please leave your name, and anything you can bring, if you are coming.
