The Elvish invasion continues, now in the form of a dark haired elf standing outside the mansion, looking very confused. He's obviously just come from battle, he's still dressed in armor, streaked with sweat and dirt and soot and blood. It's mostly not his. One hand rests on the sword at his hip, but it remains sheathed for now. His past few ( Read more... )

Alright, well. Since it's his fault and everything! Have another dark-haired elf coming around the corner of the building, from, presumably, helping out his nephew in that forge.

Who is going to stop dead and go O_O.

He doesn't notice him at first, but as he looks around he turns. And he sees Maglor. He freezes as well, not quite certain he's seeing what he thinks he's seeing. It's been a few thousand years after all.

He may look a little deer-in-headlights-y. After all, he doesn't know what his foster-son thinks of him after that last round of Kinslaying, but can venture a guess.

Also, the blood is kind of worrying.

Quiet, then, hesitant: "--Elrond."

On the other hand there's something hopeful in Elrond's expression and he takes a step towards him. "Maglor."

And here's Galadriel, not very far, smiling and walking towards him with glee, until she stops. Something is very wrong, here.

"Lord Elrond."

"Lady Galadriel." He's very surprised to see her there, and it shows. "What are you doing here?"

"I wish I could tell you, Lord. I only arrived here yesterday." A pause. "You are no longer in battle, and there is no foe to fight, so soon. Stay your hand, My Lord."

"I see," he says, "but I did not mean to leave the field. I am needed there, still." He frowns, unable to imagine how on earth he got here in the first place.

Now for extra bonus weird points, have a dead one. Say hi to your third dad, Elrond. He's wandering out of doors being all distinctively tall and redheaded, and, owning more self-possession than his brother, gets over the staring phase a bit more quickly.

"...Elrond?"

Elrond is stunned, this meeting he would have expected even less. "...Maedhros?" Elrond doesn't usually stare. Right now though, it's understandable. This shouldn't be possible.

...Sorry, Elrond. Mae takes in his dirty and bloodied appearance, which is more important to him personally than the fact that he's dead. "--Are you all right?" is therefore the first question Elrond's getting

Still looking stunned. "I am." Loooong pause. "...I did not expect to see you again." The politer way of saying 'I thought you were dead.'

To complete the trifecta, here's a distant cousin-cum-uncle in-law who doesn't actually know him. But the sudden appearance of a figure in full Elven armour draws one's attention.

"Hello. You look new."

Elrond doesn't recognize him, but he does look familiar...a bit like...no, that can't be it. That's just odd. "I believe I am. What is this place?"

He's less pretty than Galadriel, but there's a resemblance. "I really don't know for sure." He smiles, lopsided. "The general consensus is: not what you expected."

Elrond nods, not commenting just yet on the resemblence because he knows that all of Galadriel's brothers are all dead. "Yes, it truely isn't."

And here's Merlin. Because we want to see how he works with Elves too.

"There is no fighting here, warrior prince," he offers with a long tug of his pipe.

"That seems to be true," he says, "but where I was a moment ago there was." And he really has no idea how he got from there to here.

Welcome to DF, Elrond!

"Clearly so." He looks at him. "You look familiar, though we've never met. Lord Elrond, are you, aye?"

Because Merlin has been around much longer than his typist. XD

He's a little surprised, but Merlin reminds him of the Istari, especially Gandalf, so he's not too bothered. "I am, yes. I'm afraid though that I do not know you."
