He signs his name by 'cooks'--glancing up at Kay, with irony in his look. "Reporting for duty."

Dryly, he says "I trust you won't be heartbroken to find I'm not on the menu."

"Hardly."

He nods. "I'll have a schedule up soon."

"Organizing, yes. I'm Sir Kay."

Along the wood, I have seen many farms--and orchards, stocked with fruit upon the bough, although the fruit is yet too green to eat. How wouldst thou reach the folk who live apart, who might have more to give unto the cause?

"Ah, the Orkneys are out there, aren't they." He sighs. "I'll go visit, I suppose."

Andrivete, it must be said, eyes the sign with some measure of bemusement.

"Are Pickers for berries and such? I should think I could at least handle that."

He nods. "As long as you know the plants, it's fairly simple."

[andrivete]

She frowns momentarily. "Well, I'm certain I could learn."

"Maybe. But I don't know berries, so I can't teach you."
