The front door of the mansion is slowly pushed open, and a young man steps through. He is slender and sinewy, with pointed ears peeking through his long, unbound silver hair. He is smiling slightly until he takes a look around, then the smile vanishes and his large, forest-blue eyes narrow slightly. His entire posture changes, becoming more wary

Alcuin is on the couch reading with a pot of tea nearby, and he looks up, doing a doubletake at the new arrival--well, mostly at the new arrival's hair. "Hello," he says, polite.

Chaosti gives him a blank, calm stare for a few moments, sizing him up. Landen (non Craft using), so not immediately considered a threat, silver hair so possibly half Dea al Mon, but usually the ears carry... In any case he reigns in his temper and responds politely. "Hello."

"I'm Alcuin no Delaunay," Alcuin says politely, smiling. "You must be new, are you hungry?"

Typist: If it helps Chaosti any, Alcuin's hair is pure white, not really silver.

He's not entirely sure what Alcuin means by 'new,' he doesn't know yet that he's stuck here. "--No." Pause. "Thank you." He doesn't want to sit and eat something while he still doesn't know what's going on. "I need to find some people before I do anything else."

The almost breath-takingly beautiful pale man--who looked a lot like an elf to Armand's eyes--hadn't spoken out loud, but Armand saw him call in his Jewels. Armand didn't know the ranks completely, but he knew Surreal and Karla so knew Gray was powerful.

"Monsieur, please..." Armand wasn't sure please what... "No one here means you harm. Are you seeking the great ladies with Jewels?" Since the man hadn't mentioned names, Armand was reluctant to use them himself.

He jumped hastily to his feet. "I'm Armand St. Just. Welcome to the Mansion."

He watches Armand silently for a few moments with that calm stare of his before nodding. "I am. Is one of these 'great ladies' named Jaenelle?" He's slightly amused by Armand's phrasing, Witch is his Lady, but Jaenelle and the coven? The amusement is good, it helps him pull down his temper. He falls silent again briefly before introducing himself in return. "I am Chaosti, Warlord Prince of Dea al Mon."

Armand bites his lip when Chaosti introduces himself as a Warlord Prince. "Yes, monsieur... I mean Prince. There are many like you here, but you men are always looking for them. I don't know exactly where they are though."

Armand doesn't have much to worry about, he knows Jaenelle and Chaosti won't get too growly until he knows what the girls think about him. "She is well? Who is with her?"

Here, then, is another Warlord Prince with a bit of a temper problem. He gives Chaosti a level look, calling in his own Black Jewels.

"They're both here."

Oh this will be fun. He sees the Black Jewels and knows immediately who this must be, not that it's hard to identify a Black Jeweled Warlord Prince who isn't the High Lord. He's immediately on guard, temper slowly starting to rise despite himself. "And Gabrielle?"

"I'm afraid I don't know the lady in question," Daemon replies, very softly. "But both Lady Karla and Jaenelle are here."

"If she were here she would be with them." His temper doesn't show much outwardly but he's still struggling to keep it down. "Where is Jaenelle?"

Something about the hair and the ears and the slender body makes Tom think of the gentleman and he twists the ring on his finger a little compulsively. He doesn't know that most of its power is used up and that's it's just a prop to get him to focus but he wears it anyway. And he does know that this person reminds him of the gentleman and he doesn't know if that's bead or good.

He does have powerful 'magic,' but it's undoubtedly very different from the gentleman. He silently gives Tom a measuring look, a calm blank stare than can be unnerving. He can feel the little bit of power left in the ring, but isn't sure what to make of it.

Tom looks right back at him. After the lessons with the gentleman he really isn't afraid of much anymore.

Typist: That was supposed to be 'bad' up there not 'bead'.

Unfortunately for Tom, Chaosti is taking the return look as a sort of challange, and the stare intensifies.

Here's a Khardeen, who gets the message and hurries down to the entrance hall, a little wary of that kind of mood. *Chaosti,* he says breathlessly. *Mother Night, I'm glad you're here.*

He's glad to see Khardeen as well, but doesn't quite relax yet. *Khary. Are you alright? What's going on?*

*I'm fine. Just a bit befuddled. I'm not sure how I got here. Jaenelle's here, and so is Karla, but I can't find Morghann.* He's worried, and the presence of a Brother who outranks him is comforting. Especially a Brother other than Daemon. *I'm not quite sure. One minute I was in the Keep and the next I was...here. Wherever here is.*

Chaosti's just glad to see a Brother, any Brother. He frowns when Khary says that he can't find Morghann, though. *I'm sure she's still with the others. ...Gabrielle is not here either?* He's pretty sure though that Khary would have mentioned her if she was. *It happened to me the same way.*
