The front door of the mansion is slowly pushed open, and a young man steps through. He is slender and sinewy, with pointed ears peeking through his long, unbound silver hair. He is smiling slightly until he takes a look around, then the smile vanishes and his large, forest-blue eyes narrow slightly. His entire posture changes, becoming more wary

Jaenelle appears in a moment, worried for anyone who meets this particular Warlord Prince while he's on edge. She gives him a smile but offers her hands in formal greeting. "Chaosti," she says softly. "I'm here."

He doesn't quite smile back but his expression softens and he relaxes a bit as he steps forward and takes her hands in greeting. "Cousin. I am glad you are well." He pauses for a moment. "...Where is here?"

She furrows her brows, wondering what to say that won't put him back on edge. "We're not in the Realms," she says slowly. "I can't find the Winds, so I'm not sure where we are relative to Ebon Askavi. But everything seems to be normal otherwise."

"If we are not in the Realms," he asks slowly and carefully, "then where can we be?" No winds means its likely that they won't be able to get back to Ebon Askavi...or even Kaeleer apparently...and the rest of the Circle won't know what's happened.

And here's Karla with her usual wicked smile. *Easy, Chaosti. We wouldn't want anyone thinking you're angry or something.*

He does relax a bit, going from guarded and on edge to just confused. It's a relief to see her. "Karla, what's going on? Where is everyone?"

She tends to have that effect on people. "Chaosti, Chaosti," she says, shaking her head. "Aren't you forgetting your manners? Say hello before interrogating me."

He rolls his eyes and says "Hello, Karla" very, very dryly. He pauses and cocks his head slightly before asking in better humor, "Do I get to interrogate you now?"

"Well hello there" She looks a little surprised to see him (although she really shouldn't, by now) but offers him a lazy smile, "Didn't expect to see you arrive by yourself."

He looks at her and frowns slightly. "I didn't expect to arrive at all." After a moment his expression clears, though, and he gives her a slight smile. "Hello, Surreal."
